Here’s an example of why living in Flagstaff is so wonderful!

Yesterday, Flagstaff’s local paper featured the Forces of Nature trail, which hugs the south side of the lower contours of Mt. Elden. You’ll find some great images published by the Arizona Daily Sun on the paper’s website along with a story by Editor-in-Chief Randy Wilson, who says “A good hike, in my book, ought to combine some local history, interesting flora and fauna, and dramatic scenery.”

Fatman's Loop Trail

The photo here is an amazing scene on the Fat Man’s Loop trail on the east side of Mt. Elden, to which the Forces of Nature trail connects.

All of the trails mentioned in Randy’s article are easily accessible by foot from many east side Flagstaff neighborhoods. All are great reasons to live in Flagstaff!
