The Northern Arizona Book Festival kicks off tomorrow and runs through an exciting week at a variety of venues around downtown Flagstaff. Check out the complete schedule here.

The Viola Award winning Narrow Chimney Reading Series has merged with the twenty-year long iconic Northern Arizona Book Festival. Narrow Chimney co-founders, James Jay and Jesse Sensibar, have prepared a weeklong extravaganza of readings, workshops, and book signings, emphasizing the vibrant writing scene of Flagstaff.

Authors will include Denise Chavez, Nicole Walker, Monica Brown, Seth Muller, Eddie Chuculate, Warren Perkins, and dozens more. Panels will include a discussion of Jim Simmerman’s influence on Northern Arizona writers.

This celebration of the recent Flagstaff Writing Renaissance will kick off Monday, September 7, 2015 at Uptown Pubhouse and run throughout the week at various downtown businesses, including Firecreek, the Starrlight Books, culminating on the weekend of September 11-13th at the Orpheum Theater.
