Girls on the Run 5k


This Saturday, Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona is holding their last race of the running season, a 5k that is non-pressure and perfect for any level of runner, even if it is your first race! While the race celebrates the 3rd-5th grade girls who are completing a third month season of the Girls on the Run Program, you are welcome to participate by registering as a Running Buddy or Community Partner. Discovery Second Saturday: Niňo’s Celebraciones


On Saturday the Museum of Northern Arizona’s Day of the Dead festival is continuing, this time with a chance to learn traditional Mexican dances with Ballet Folklorico de Colores, and make various Dia de los Muertos art and crafts!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Arizona is holding their annual fundraiser, BIG Night Out Casino Night. The event takes place at the Little America Hotel, with all guests open to play blackjack, roulette, poker, and craps for a chance to win great raffle prizes! Elemental Generation of the Fourth World

Nutcracker Tea 



On November 14th the NAU Community Music and Dance Academy will host their annual ‘Nutcracker Ballet Tea’ fundraiser, with proceeds going towards dance scholarships. The event includes a lunch with tea, hot chocolate, and desserts, then a silent auction and various crafts for the kids.
