While close in numbers, single family homes in the Flagstaff area in March 2016 (64 sales) came in just shy of the March 2015 (68 sales). On the horizon there are 172 homes in a pending status indicating a steady market in the near future. Active buyers under the $400,000 range continue to have a shortage of homes to consider. As we enter into what is considered to be our busy time, buyers are standing by and eagerly waiting for sellers to list their homes.
The median price for single family homes in March came in at $376,229 up from $364,000 in February 2016.
The townhome market in Flagstaff remains strong with 16 sales in March, up from last year (10) but below the 21 sales in February. Inventory levels of townhomes for all prices are currently at 49.
