Flagstaff Medical Center and CHS Blood Drives

Today from 10am to 3pm is FMC’s blood drive, held at Northern Arizona’s Healthcare Education Dept. Come play a part in helping save lives! All donars will receive a free tire rotation and car checkup, courtesy of Advanced Auto Services and Tire Centers. If you cannot make the end time at 3pm, Coconino High School is also holding a blood drive today, which is open until 5:30, held at CHS.Visit AZ Daily Sun.

Local Color Opening Art Reception

horsThis Saturday is the opening reception for Local Color 2016, an event featuring the work of 24 artists from Northern Arizona. Artwork ranges from painting, sculpture, ceramics, and more, and the opening reception will have live music and hors de’oeuvres. Visit FlagArtsCouncil.

To Kill A Mockingbird

Starting on Thursday, the NAU College of Arts and Letters will present the stage version of Harper Lee’s classic novel, To Kill A Mockingbird.This is a story that no one should miss! Tickets are available at the NAU Central Ticket Office, (928) 523-5661.

A Seusstacular Earth Day Celebration

Bookman’s is celebrating Earth Day on this Friday with one of (youth) literature’s most beloved authors, Dr. Seuss! The Lorax party will include storytime, planting truffula trees to take home, and a plant learning center where participants can look at and even taste plants! Visit Flagstaff.com for details.

Women’s Hockey Drop In

Tomorrow at the Jay Lively Ice Rink, there is a drop in session for women to come and try a spot on the women’s summer league. All levels are welcome, and the drop in fee is only $9!. To play you must be signed up online, so visit  Women’s Hockey to get started.
