Wool and Fiber Festival
Calling all fiber arts enthusiasts! This Saturday the Coconino Center for the Arts is hosting their annual Wool and Fiber Festival. Learn about natural dyeing, watch sheep shearing demonstrations (and meet the other amazing animals who give us wool/fiber), and shop for hand-dyed yarn, roving, and spinning accessories!
34th Annual Sacred Mountain Prayer Run
If you are a runner, join NACA (Native Americans for Community Action) this Saturday for the 34th Annual Sacred Mountain Prayer Run. This is a special event in the Northern Arizona community, and it illustrates the importance Native cultures place on prayer/running for well being.
Starting this Friday, Theatrikos Theater presents “The Graduate.” Originally a 1960’s film, this play follows the story of a college graduate seeking his life’s purpose as he leaves college and his stellar academic record to venture out into the world. Drama ensues when he is seduced by the dangerous and alcoholic wife of his father’s business partner. Purchase tickets at Theatrikos.
Have a wonderful weekend enjoying all early summer has to offer, and don’t forget to contact us if you have questions about buying or selling a home!
